Back From a Weekend Away

So I am back from a girls weekend down the Cape. It was a blast, and there wasn't any drama between 9 girls.
Friday my mother and I woke up early and left but on the way down to Cape Cod we went to The Christmas Tree Shops and got some cute wine glasses among other things. Then we continued our journey to the hotel.  The weekend was full of lots of laughs, drinks, games, jacuzzis, made up words, campfires, but mostly laughing. I had a great time and we are planning to make it an anual thing.

This was the room my mom and I shared at the Bayside Hotel in Yarmouth. The beds were pretty comfy.

 The bar inside the hotel was really cool. There were dollar bills everywhere so we had to do one too!

 We for some reason decided to see how many people we could fit on one bed...clearly it is more than 5

 When we were out shopping we all got shirts that had a martini glass on them that said Yarmouth, they were really cute. So when we came across matching hats we all had to have a photo op.

Fun times in the jacuzzi, we stayed in it until after 11 when they closed.

Tonight I am looking forward to taking a shower, watching my usual Sunday night shows, and relaxing.

Gone for the Weekend

It's been a hectic day. Earlier I hung out with my boyfriend for a few hours before he went to work. Then I went out shopping all day with my mom to prepare for our weekend. We are going to Cape Cod with a few cousins and aunts and having a girls weekend. The weather doesn't look to promising but it's supposed to be sunny for a little while atleast. No matter what we will have a good time sitting by the pool or beach, shopping, eating and drinking. I still haven't packed yet, and I need to soon so I can get to bed at a reasonable time tonight. 

I really want to get a Vera Bradley bag to have for these type of events, just going away for a few days. I used to have one but the zipper broke so I got rid of it. But I think it's time for a new one, maybe I'll get one for my birthday, hint hint ;)

I won't have my computer while I am away so I don't think I'll be updating until Sunday night or Monday. But I will be sure to have a ton of pictures.

Late Night Update

It's about 2:30 and I am still wide awake. So I thought why not blog about whats on my mind. So here it goes.... 

As you may know my boyfriend and I love traveling. We are a part of an airline club and get special deals for certain days and today the deal was 9$ flights to Atlantic City. It ends up being close to $38 with the fees but you can't beat that. I have never been to Atlantic City before so we are thinking about booking a flight, and coming back the next day. I am not big into gambling but I don't mind it a little here and there, not that I can afford to do it for too long. But it will be nice to see a new place, go out to eat, maybe see a show and most of all spend sometime with my boyfriend. So hopefully we book the flights/hotel tomorrow!

Has anyone ever been there/ have any good recommendations of where to stay, eat, go out etc. It would be greatly appreciated.

TV Tuesdays

So the Red Sox Game last night was so fun, even though it was rainy. We won in the 9th inning with a homerun :) We got back to my boyfriends pretty late so needless to say I slept in late today.

But since today is Tuesday I thought I'd do another TV Tuesday. So I decided to do it on The Voice since its one of my new favorite shows. During the first few episodes the judges aka. Cee Lo, Blake Shelton, Christina Augularia and Adam Levine ( from Maroon 5) sit with their backs turned to the contestents and decide if they like their singing without looking at them. Who ever presses the button to turn around gets the person on their team. However, when more than one person presses the button than the singer gets to pick whose team they would like to be on.

Then in the next few rounds there are battles between the singers, singing the same song and  then their "advisor" one of the judges gets to decide who will stay and who will leave. I have a few favorites who I am rooting for and I hope none of them go home tonight!

I am waiting for my boyfriend to get here to go to the Red Sox game tonight, I can't wait. Hopefully it doesnt pour though.

But anyways sorry for the rant that is about to come. Every day that I sleep at home I am miserable.  I serioulsy look around and just get so angry. My bed is wicked uncomfortable and every day I wake up and my back is sore.  I hate the color of my walls and carpet. I don't have enough storage to begin to organize my stuff. I have had the same furniture as long as I can remember and I am ready to get rid of it. I hate the set up of my room but I cant move anything because it is too heavy. My closet doesn't hold all the clothes I would like it too. I just want to move out/ back to school before I freak out. I am just waiting for one more thing to put me over the edge. I also hate the slanted walls in my room because I can't hang anything up or organize my room the way I would like. AHHHHHHHH I wish this feeling would go away but I don't think that will be happening anytime soon....

Ideas

This blog is pretty much about my life but if there are any specific topics any of my followers would like me to write more about such as traveling for example just comment on this post and I will do my best :)

Also, I am starting to completely reorganize my room and I am looking for ideas of things to help me stay organized, I need to go shopping asap so if any of you have some good tips let me know. It will be muchly appreciated!!

Off to start cleaning, and make myself some dinner. I'm thinkin a grilled cheese with bacon... hmm

Weekend Recap

So last night was a blast. We stayed up so late drinking and playing games. However, I can't add pictures yet because I still don't have my computer back. Today I am semi hungover and have to unpack my room because it is a disaster and I am dreading it. I am definatly taking before and after pictures because it is such a task.

Tomorrow my boyfriend and I both finally have a day where we can do something. So we got tickets to the Red Sox but the forecast looks like it is going to pour! But we will make the best of it since we barely get to do things together because of his work schedule.
