Today I went out to eat at the Olive Garden at Patriots Place and then went to the movies. I saw Bridesmaids, and I have to admit it was pretty funny. The movie was produced by the same guy who produced 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. I wasn't sure if my boyfriend was going to like it but he did. There were a bunch of funny lines and the movie was overall pretty good. There were some slow parts but not too many. It was kind of like a female Hangover. I feel like the movie would have been better if it was like 20 minutes shorter. The movie revolved around Annie who was asked to be her best friends maid of honor. However the stress of planning her friends wedding with one of the bridesmaids who was snobby and in desperate need to be the bride, Lilys new best friend, who would not let Annie have a say in any plans. However it showed just how far you go for your true friends.

Movie Monday
Today was a really stressful day, I had 2 finals, one of which was extreamly difficult, and I am not sure how I did :-/. But anyways moving on......
So this Monday I decided to swich things up and write about a movie that just came out called Something Borrowed. I love the author who originally wrote Something Borrowed, Emily Griffen, so I imagine the movie will be great (not to mention I love Kate Hudson). It's a romantic comedy about a girl who is single, with a best friend that is getting married. However, as the movie goes on she falls in love and is caught in a triangle between choosing the love of her life and her best friend. Sounds like a movie I'd want to see on a girls night out (BP I'm talking to you ;) ).

Movie Monday
Today during my last day of classes, in my Sociology class we watched this movie called "Hair", it is also a Broadway musical as well. The movie was pretty old, and most of the songs were pretty funny, for the time frame that it was created in. My professor told us that the movie was boycotted for a long time because of the language and nudity. Also, it was rated PG when it came out because there was no PG-13 rating. The movie used humorology and I was laughing througout the whole thing, until the end. The last 30 seconds were the only serious part of the movie and it was kind of sad. The movie was about hippies and showed both sides to the war.
It was funny to watch a movie from the "hippie" time frame, the girl who was pregnant was doing acid and smoking, the kids didnt have car seats and were just thrown in the back seat without a seatbelt. Boy have times changed....
